R is for Relaxing
Life is stressful, and there is just so much stimuli around us with media at our fingertips at all times. Quiet your mind, promote restful deep sleep by putting away your cell phone at least 15 minutes before bed. Set your privacy settings to make your phone not make a peep, unless it is a select few people
We need to be still, quiet, silent…. We need time to rest and meditate of the goodness of God.
I can achieve a sense of peace and calm with both Serenity and Balance oils. I use them for daytime stress AND nighttime sleep!
Amazing right? I love how oils meet our bodies where they are, and take them where they need to go. So in the day time, manage stress, but at night, take me into restful slumber.
These buddy oils, are great for mood lifting and centering. Balance oil is very grounding. I wear it like perfume. I put it on before getting into traffic or when I feel the stress of the day effecting my mood. Serenity relaxes and brings me a sense of peace and security. Cedarwood can be added to a roller with the other 2, to help a child process better at school, to overcome some sensory issues and even just to not be so grumpy! 🙂
Add Elevation oil on the heart for some serious mood adjusting, together these 3 oils would have wonderful health benefits for those suffering from periods of sadness. One of my FAVORITE diffuser blends is 3 drops Elevation, 3 drops Bergamot and 1 drop Spearmint. It is wonderful and just smells happy.
Serenity comes in oil form, but has a partner in pill form. For the first time since before I had children (they are all grown now) I am falling asleep when my head hits the pillow and waking up deeply rested, before my alarm. This is amazing!
